Who Are We? About Us
Innovative education
Castells i Cavallers provides its annual activities at the time of enrollment. Mainly we provide activities that will give the children a foundation for educational continuity, while allowing them to development at their own pace.
This basic foundation is enriched with complementary activities and themes, which the teachers develop monthly, taking into account the personality of the group or class.
Each theme revolves around the seasons and the annual program. For instance, this year 2012 our focus is on Scandanavia.
Our school is not rooted in just one system of education. Rather it practices a balance of different educational styles and philosophies, utilizing the most positive and enriching aspects of each.
What differentiates our school from others is that we create activities according to the students level, in other words, P0, P1, o P2.
Regarding the youngest, we respect their individual rhythm of naps and mealtimes. We take advantage of the moments when they are awake to stimulate their senses, through touch, with small, light massages; through sight, with images and theatrical performances; through smell with mild scents, diverse and suggestive; with sound, as we continuously work with music of all types (Mediterranean, Celtic, Asian, African…) and taste, experimenting with new flavours for their meals.
